Pros:
Moisturizing
One stick seems to last forever
Cheap

Cons:
Tastes bad

Carmex is one of the little things that actually changed my life. I ran out of chapstick (or maybe I lost it again, who knows?) so I went to get some more. They were out of the chapstick but I saw they had plenty of Carmex. Maybe it's not as well known.
So I got a tube of Carmex and when I tried it I could immediately tell the difference in quality. It made my lips feel nice and smooth and the sensation was hard to describe. It's like a cooling, medicine-like sensation. My lips were no longer chapped, even after the Carmex was no longer on my lip due to eating, washing my face, etc.
This is my go-to lip balm that I also use it on my lips before wearing any matte lipstick. It's effective, cheap, and it lasts long. I still have the same tube that I purchased 3 years ago and I probably still have a good year's worth left in the stick.
