Make-Up Hacks That I Wish Someone Told Me About

Eyeliner
If you're like me and still don't have a steady hand, eyeliner can be pretty daunting. I was lucky enough to have make-up divas as friends and roommates who jumped at the chance to put my eyeliner on for me when we went out. In other words, I never really attempted to do it myself (lol).
Using a pencil is easier for people like me, but I like the look of liquid eyeliner. Solution? Outline the shape I want with pencil, and then "color" it in with the liquid eyeliner. For me it's like a win-win!

Lip liner
If you're not trying to do anything fancy (ombre lips and all those other trends) and you're just going for one simple color, apply your lip liner after the lipstick. I noticed that when I do my liner before the lipstick, I sometimes have to go back with the liner and make the colors blend a little more. If the lipstick is already there, it will blend seamlessly assuming you're lightly lining them to clean it up a bit.

Eyeliner as brow filler
I got this tip from my aforementioned friends. One time as I was touching up my eyebrows with a brow razor, my roommate scared me as a joke. She didn’t know that I was doing my brows and I ending up taking a chunk off one of them.
Basically, I almost cried.
She gave me a tip that until the hair grows back in, I can use my black eyeliner to fill in the patch (yes, my hair color is black). I didn’t simply color it in; I drew little lines that looked like hair. No one noticed the patch in my eyebrows so it was all good.
